  11. This file contains the latest operating system patches for NetWare 4.10.
  12. Included with this release are all patches for all user-versions of NetWare
  13. 4.10.  The patches included have system tested by Novell. Novell recommends
  14. loading ALL patches before contacting Novell for support.eatures are the

  27. ISSUE: 
  28.  
  29. Features are the following:
  30.  New automated installation process, through INSTALL.NLM "Product Options" for
  31. all OS Types except NetWare SFTIII.
  32.  
  33.  Auto-detection of Operating System type; Native, NWOS2, SFTIII
  34.  
  35.  Auto-update of SERVER.EXE or MSERVER.EXE with new LOADER.EXE Edits STARTUP.NCF
  36. to autoload patches upon execution of SERVER.EXE.
  37.  
  38.  "UNLOAD PM410" will unload all patches if desired.
  39.  
  40.  New console command "PMLOAD" , autoloads patches in the
  41.  
  42.  "PATCHES" console command lists patches alphabetically & gives total number
  43.  This patch kit has been broken up into 3 areas (Native NetWare, NetWare SFT
  44. III, & NetWare for OS/2).  Copy all files from the appropriate locations to the
  45. DOS partition and volume SYS:.  Edit the STARTUP.NCF,  IOSTART.NCF, or
  46. MSSTART.NCF files.  There are some sample NCF file that may help the
  47. installation.

  49.  NOTE: STARTUP.NCF will NOT allow execution of an NCF file from within it.  It
  50. is necessary to copy the contents from the sample *.NCF to your existing
  51. STARTUP.NCF.  AUTOEXEC.NCF will allow the execution of an NCF file, so simply
  52. call the AUTO.NCF file from with in AUTOEXEC.NCF.  It may be necessary to edit
  53. the sample NCF file to specify correct paths.
